Photoreal 2D DC10-30 panel for FS2004 in 4:3 ratio. All views animated.

Ed's Panel Shop finally lets one of his panels loose into the FS world! Ok some will say "only 20 years too late!" but I still know some who still love FS2004 as much as I do.

This panel was originally developed for the FS2004 CLS DC-10 model but will work with other models.

I have added instructions as to what needs to be added to the aircraft cfg as certainly CLS got it wrong. (flaps,radios,spoilerons).

In the readme there are links to instructional videos. I find videos easier to follow than instructions. There are written instructions as well.

While one can jump in and fly this panel. I wanted it to be easyish for those who do not have much time to fly (like myself)

But also not to feel like a default aircraft and capture the feel and features of the DC-10.

Crossfeeds, Fuel transfer and Fuel dumping is implemented.

Automatic setting of VSpeeds and trim for takeoff and landing.

IAS mode implemented.

Auto updating Delco INS. Deosnt sound correct I know but I've done my time manually updating waypoints. Just file and fsflightplan and you are off.

Hydraulic section is interesting and can be tested acording to a real manual.

Pressurisation is automatic.

Lot's of interesting bit's and bobs to find.

The best DC-10 panel available and a work of art in itself. This panel is a passion project and captures the look and feel of the DC-10 in FS2004 very well. Not every knob or function of the real aircraft is modeled, but this is clearly not what this add-on is aiming for. Instead, it offers an aestaetic, atmospheric medium-level simulation for daily use, which has the perfect balance of managing the job of a 3-person crew while still feeling somewhat realistic. Layout and clickspots are very intuitive; viewpoint and sounds make you feel like you would actually sit in the pilot‘s seat. Lots of custom functions and small details to discover. Follow the supplied instructions and video, and you’ll have no problems setting up and running this panel. With the help of the author, I was able to create a custom ISG mod for this panel, which integrates a flight management system to make it RNAV- and Navigraph-compatible. The mod is available on the FS2004 forum. I highly recommend to use it together with the TSS DC-10 Pilot Edition Soundpack. This is how every 2D-panel should have been!

Highly unstable with game-breaking bugs and limited functionality: I cannot recommend purchasing this add-on. While it may look acceptable from a distance, it is fundamentally unflyable due to severe system errors omitted from the product listing. You are paying a premium price for a panel with highly limited functionality.The aircraft suffers from frequent Crashes to Desktop (CTD), particularly during the critical landing phase, rendering any meaningful flight impossible. Furthermore, the product features major fuel system defects not disclosed in the description. When the auxiliary tanks are empty and the fill tanks are latched, fuel mysteriously generates out of nowhere, completely breaking realistic fuel planning. While the listing claims fuel transfer is implemented, the logic is broken; transferring fuel multiplies the total load mid-flight rather than dividing it, and there is no usable workaround. Equally disappointing is the cockpit functionality. A large number of switches and knobs are completely non-functional, which is impossible to detect from the promotional videos until after purchase. When contacted regarding these defects, the developer stated they could not reproduce the CTDs on their end. While the developer pointed out that other users have left positive reviews, this does not change the fact that the developer did explicitly acknowledge the broken fuel transfer code in writing. However, they indicated they would not be fixing it any time soon, falsely claiming a workaround exists when there is none. For a premium payware add-on costing over £30, the lack of stability, broken core systems, and absence of post-launch product support make this a highly disappointing purchase. Look for alternative community options instead.

also i saw your forum posts on https://fs2004.team/forum/ regarding releasing more i would say from what ive seen on your you tube channel thier all good enough for release right now as is you did already spend alot of time on them already can you setup a voting system on a forum to see which panel is most popular and people would buy for the next release

this is a great analog panel for fs2004 i would also like to buy the md80 md82 digital panel with CRT displays and an FMC to make navigation easier and i would like to buy the 737 400 grey panel with CRT displays and an FMC

Most of us have seen Ed's work with his panels for years now, It is enough to say this piece of work IS what a proper FS2004 panel should have always been, those who are still using FS9 can now have a taste of this wonderful work FINALLY.

Absolutely superb! After many many years of seeings Ed's fantastic panels on youtube hes finally released one for the public! It was well worth the wait and money. Highly recommend anyone who still uses FS2004/FS9 Thankd again Ed, hopefully we can see more in the future.
