The PC-24 is a twin-engine business jet, a larger jet-powered follow-on to the earlier Pilatus PC-12. Considered to be a short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft, being designed to operate from short and rough air strips, it incorporates an advanced wing design, with large double-slopped flap system to achieve the necessary performance.

Having a stall speed of only 81 knots at the maximum landing weight, Pilatus has claimed that the PC-24 possesses performance attributes which are unmatched by any jet aircraft on the market.

It possesses a take-off distance of 820 m (2,690 ft) and a landing distance of 770 m (2,526 ft). The PC-24 is intended to be capable of operations from unpaved runways and grass strips which no other business jet has this ability.
These features give the jet access to over 21,000 airports worldwide.

Been flying Xplane 11's PC24 and thought I would try this one out. Xplane has one but the Guy who made it wont upgrade it. This is like a dream come true compared to Xplanes PC24. Flight dynamics feel close to real and like in the real PC24 the airspeed indicator is always slightly moving in landing configurations. Interior and exterior look great.The Cockpit looks wonderful and takes a bit of learning but its worth the time Anyway I love the challenge flying this in P3D. Ima get P3D 4.5 very soon.

Sehr gut umgesetztes Flugzeug. Sehr schönes und dem Original entsprechendes Cockpit. Sehr schöne Texturen und auch sehr gut lesbare Cockpitanzeigen. Die PC-24 lässt sich sehr gut manuell, aber auch mit Autopiloten fliegen. Die Daten im FMC können ab Flugplanungstool übernommen oder manuell eingegeben werden. Einziger Minuspunkt finde ich das Flight Manuel. Viele Funktionen sind zu wenig oder gar nicht beschrieben. So musste ich selber herausfinden wo und wie Eingaben für einzelne Panels gemacht werden müssen. So z.B. beim Multi-Function Control Panel oder die Bedienung beim Autopilot Empfehlenswert wäre ein Tutorialflug. Finde aber 5 Sterne trotzdem gerechtfertigt.

Ich korrigiere meine Beurteilung auf 4 Sterne, die PC 24 macht einfach eine Menge Spass. Das sowieso, weil ich Schweizer bin.

Ein sehr schönes feierabend Flugzeug ohne allzugrosses Schnickschnack. Sehr schöne Texturen, sehr schön zu fliegen. Kann durchaus noch weiter entwickelt werden, der Preis ist ist etwas hoch aber durchaus bezahlbar für dies Produkt. Es muss unbedinkt das Swappertool benutzt werden ansonsten sind der Arbeitsspeicher schnell aufgebraucht.

Die PC-24 ist sehr gut gelungen. Bei meinem etwas älteren System (i3770K OC @ 4.5 GHz) läuft der Flieger mit hochauflösenden Texturen. Momentan habe ich Cockpit- und Aussentexturen auf DXT-5 und damit läuft es perfekt und sieht immer noch gut aus. Das Starten der Triebwerke gestaltet sich eher schwierig, obwohl man eigentlich nur die Batterien oder die externe Energieversorgung anschalten und dann den Startschalter drehen müsste. Meisten bleibt N1 bei 5 stehen und es passiert nichts mehr. Ich bringe die Triebwerke dann meistens in einer unreproduzierbaren Weise mit Ctrl-E und dem Set Ready to fly Knopf (kleines Panel mit Shft-2) in Gang. Das ist unschön. Eigentlich sollte alles mit dem Startdrehschalter gehen - ohne Probleme. Das ist leider momentan nicht so. Das Manual sagt nicht viel dazu. Übrigens den Mute Schalter für den Alarm findet man im unteren mittleren Display. Weiteres Manko die Scheinwerfer. Die sieht man am Boden, aber schaut man den Flieger von vorne an, blendet es kaum. Man kann doch schön glühende Positionslichter machen. Warum sind die Scheinwerfer immer, nicht nur bei diesem Flieger, so schwach? In echt (siehe Broschüre von Pilatus) sieht das anders aus. Ich hoffe auf Nachbesserung in diesen Punkten. Sonst mag ich den Flieger, den man mit ein bisschen Übung wirklich auf kürzesten Pisten starten und landen kann.
