Mostly known through the famous sarajevo approach, which was done during the bosnia war. The Sarajevo International Airport is renowned for its challenging approach due to its location nestled in a valley surrounded by high mountains reaching up to 10,000 feet. Pilots navigating this airport require precise approaches, and proficiency in aircraft handling, especially during go-arounds, is crucial.

Opened to the public in 1969, the airport had 1.3 million passengers in 2022.

Der Flughafen Sarajevo LQSA / SJJ ist insgesamt sehr schön gelungen. Die neue Gestaltung gefällt mir wirklich sehr gut und ich liebe das moderne Erscheinungsbild. Ich habe die Szenerie gestern gekauft und sie funktioniert grundsätzlich einwandfrei. Vielen Dank für die tolle Arbeit! Allerdings gibt es noch ein paar Punkte, die verbessert werden sollten: Die Innenbeleuchtung im Terminal ist teilweise zu dunkel. Einige LED-Lichter im Innenbereich fehlen oder sind nicht aktiv. Teilweise schweben kleine Objekte in der Luft – diese sollten korrigiert werden. Die Jetway (Passagierbrücke) hat ein Problem: Wenn man die Kameraansicht wechselt, fährt sie manchmal automatisch zurück und ist nicht mehr mit dem Flugzeug verbunden. Hier wäre eine Stabilitätsverbesserung wichtig. Wenn diese Punkte in einem Update verbessert werden, ist der Flughafen meiner Meinung nach perfekt – dann gibt es von mir ganz klar 5 Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Ich hoffe sehr, dass Kiss Simulation diese Punkte ernst nimmt und mit einem Update verbessert. Trotzdem: Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Umsetzung des Flughafens Sarajevo!
