Bram Fischer International Airport (FABL) was constructed in 1912 and it was South Africa’s third largest airport at the time. The runways where upgraded in 2002, followed by an upgrade to the terminal shortly thereafter.

Bram Fischer International Airport is located 10 kilometers (6 mi) from the city of Bloemfontein which is also the capital city of the Free State Province. The airport shares runways with Air Force Base Bloemspruit which is located at the east side of the airport.

Bloemfontein is considered to be the Judicial Capital of South Africa because the South African Court of Appeals are located in the city. Bloemfontein is one of the three capital cities of South Africa with Cape Town being the Legislative Capital and Pretoria
being the Administrative Capital.

This package contains Bram Fischer International Airport, New Tempe Airport and the City of Bloemfontein with all the prominent buildings and landmarks.

Please be aware that the airports in this package have been discontinued and will no longer be updated. You therefore purchase them as is. We will try our best provide you with support, but you should know that because these packages are so old, the help we provide may also be limiting we have moved on to the new version Microsoft Flight Simulator.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Our Scenery Library with common use objects are no longer distributed as part of this airport package. Please download and install it separately using the link below. This Library is needed for the correct working of the airport. Without it, you may not see the taxi lights, runway lights, apron lights, trees or vehicles parked at the airport. You only need to download and install this package once as all our airports uses it.
