The MXP-1000 Tayrona is a light two-seat STOL aircraft designed and built in Colombia by WACSA, loved for its rugged simplicity, quick takeoff and landing performance, and pure stick-and-rudder handling.
Recreated with direct access to the real aircraft and developed in collaboration with Tayrona owners, pilots, and aeronautical engineers, this project brings a new chapter of light sport aviation to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
From the first taxi to short-field climbs, every moment in the Tayrona feels hand-crafted, personal, and authentic.

Development & Validation
The Tayrona’s digital recreation was guided by direct access to a real aircraft and continuous feedback from Tayrona owners and active pilots.
Every flight-model adjustment, visual refinement, and system correction reflects real-world reference data and pilot testing conducted throughout Early Access.
The result is a handcrafted, pilot-approved simulation that captures both the technical performance and the human feel of this unique LSA.
